Pula is the largest town on the Istria Peninsula. Home to Pula Arena, this is the sixth largest coliseum in the world and has the best preserved walls. The town is surrounded with beautiful nature and beaches where you can enjoy peaceful views on the Adriatic. Istria is famous for it’s cuisine, so you will also get a taste of the region with amazing restaurants throughout!

Where is it? Pula is on the southern tip of the Istria Peninsula in Northwest Croatia.

How to get here? To get to the peninsula, it is only about a two hour drive and boat ride from Venice, Italy. You can also easily access from Slovenia and it is just a 3 hour drive from Zagreb.

Best combined with: Rijeka, Opatija and the whole Kvarner region ( islands of Cres, Losinj, Krk, Rab)
